Founded in 1983 by the Diamond Family, Globe Scientific was built on a foundation of quality, honesty, integrity and hard-work. Today, we are well known and respected throughout the industry for our high quality, innovative products and exceptional customer support.
From humble beginnings in the Diamond family basement in 1983 to a 175,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Mahwah, New Jersey, and a state-of-the-art, carbon-neutral warehouse in The Netherlands, Globe Scientific has grown into a trusted global provider of laboratory products.
Founded by Milton and Beverly Diamond, Globe Scientific began by offering high-quality, cost-effective alternatives for cuvettes and sample cups used in blood and chemistry analyzers. Their commitment to exceptional service, competitive pricing, and a family-oriented workplace quickly set the foundation for lasting success.
As the business grew, so did the family's involvement. Dara Diamond became President & CEO in 2018, after years of dedication and leadership. In 2023, Dennis Hoeft, a seasoned executive with over 30 years in the laboratory industry, was promoted to President, bringing strategic insight and experience to the role.
Today, Globe Scientific employs over 65 professionals and offers a portfolio of 4,500+ laboratory products-from consumables and glassware to benchtop equipment-ready for immediate shipment. Serving markets that include clinical, research, hospital, veterinary, education, and specialty sectors, many of our products can be customized or private-labeled to meet your needs.
In 2022, Globe Scientific joined GSI Group Holdings, a U.S.-based holding company focused on leading brands in laboratory consumables and equipment. This partnership strengthens our supply chain capabilities and enhances our ability to provide a comprehensive product portfolio at competitive prices worldwide.
In 2023, we expanded our reach with Globe Scientific products now stocked in our CO2-neutral warehouse in The Netherlands, enabling a growing network of European distributors. This facility provides local service, inventory, and expertise, ensuring faster deliveries and an enhanced customer experience across Europe.
