Fixed-volume models suit repeated transfers at one set volume. Adjustable models let you change the setpoint within the stated range and lock it to help prevent accidental changes.

Consistent plunger movement
The magnet-assisted piston supports consistent movement through the first and second stops for aspiration, dispensing and touch off.
Less force, more comfort
A low-force spring and seal design, lightweight ergonomic body and silicone shock absorber in the tip ejection mechanism help reduce fatigue during repetitive pipetting.
Durability where it matters
A PVDF tip cone resists corrosion and shock. A corrosion-resistant alloy tip ejector adds durability.
Control for plate preparation
Both multi-channel formats feature a 360° rotating manifold for flexible positioning. Each channel is calibrated individually.

What are Diamond APEX pipettors?
Diamond® APEX™ pipettors from Globe Scientific are lightweight laboratory pipettors available in single-channel adjustable-volume, single-channel fixed-volume, 8-channel and 12-channel configurations. The series includes a magnet-assisted piston, low-force plunger and shock-absorbing tip ejection mechanism.
What volume ranges are available?
Single-channel adjustable models cover 0.1–2.5 µL through 1,000–10,000 µL. Fixed-volume models are available from 2.5 µL to 10,000 µL. Both 8-channel and 12-channel models offer ranges from 0.5–10 µL through 30–300 µL. Each range requires its corresponding model.
Should I choose fixed or adjustable volume?
Choose a fixed-volume model when you repeatedly transfer one specified volume. Choose an adjustable-volume model when you need to change volumes within a defined range. Adjustable APEX models include a volume lock to help prevent accidental changes.
How do 8-channel and 12-channel pipettors differ?
An 8-channel pipettor handles eight positions per pipetting action; a 12-channel model handles twelve. For compatible 96-well plate workflows, eight channels align with a column and twelve with a row. Confirm tip spacing and labware compatibility before selecting a model. Both APEX formats feature a 360° rotating manifold.
Are Diamond APEX pipettors autoclavable?
The flyer identifies Diamond APEX pipettors as fully autoclavable and UV resistant. Multi-channel models also feature a removable, fully autoclavable and UV-resistant manifold. Follow the product instructions for the applicable autoclave cycle and maintenance procedure.
Are Diamond APEX pipettors calibrated?
Diamond APEX pipettors are calibrated in an ISO 17025 accredited facility. Each channel of a multi-channel model is calibrated individually. The flyer does not specify numerical accuracy or precision limits; request model-specific performance information for your application.
Which pipette tips fit Diamond APEX pipettors?
