These adhesive sterilization indicator tapes are used to seal autoclave bags and pouches and change color when the contents have passed through a sterilization cycle.

Item #1051 features good resistance to heat and damp; it's particularly recommended for indicating dry sterilization (POUPINEL method). After sterilization the “V” indicator strips change color from green to brown (minimum conditions for change are: dry heat 30 minutes at 155° C).

Item #1052 is meant to be used with autoclave steam sterilization. After sterilization, the indicator strips change color from green to brown (minimum conditions for change are: steam 10 min 121°C or 2 min 134°C).

Both varieties are lead free.
